John Cameron Lowrie(1808–1900) was a Scottish-American Presbyterian missionary who spent 43 years serving in India. He was instrumental in establishing and developing mission stations, schools, and hospitals in the Indian subcontinent. (From Wikipedia) More about John C. Lowrie:
