Bernard Rackham

Bernard Rackham (26 July 1876, Lambeth, London – 13 February 1964, Liss, Hampshire) was an English writer and lecturer on ceramics and stained glass and spent his career as a curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum. He is known for his pioneering research on Italian maiolica. (From Wikipedia)
