Dorcas James Spencer (née, Barber; January 7, 1841 – May 2, 1933) was an American temperance activist, writer, and advocate for Native American rights. Spencer served as President of the California State's W.C.T.U. (1894–97; 1904–06). (From Wikipedia) More about Dorcas James Spencer:
