Timon of Athens is a play set in ancient Greece, attributed to William Shakespeare. Bibliographic notesTimon of Athens was first published in 1623 in the First Folio. That publication is the basis of later editions. While the First Folio attributes the play solely to Shakespeare, some scholars believe that the play was a collaboration, with Thomas Middleton usually proposed as the co-author. See also |
