The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is a sacred book of Latter day saint churches, which consider it "another testament of Jesus Christ" supplementing The Bible.

Bibliographic notes

The first edition of The Book of Mormon was published in 1830, and was based on manuscripts dictated by Joseph Smith. Smith was involved in the publication of additional editions before his death in 1844. More recent editions published by Latter day saint churches may include versification, modernization of the English, or other textual changes or supplements. The book has also been translated into many other languages.
