Don't give up hope. . .I'm just barely becoming a Senior Citizen,
and I think these things will appear just barely within my lifetime,
so it should be well within yours. . . .

I remember the very first calculators. . .and bought my first one,
used!, for over $100. . .back around 1972. . .which would be around
$500 now. . . .

However, six months ago I bought a fine used laptop for $5!!!!!!!

And of course I have calculator programs for it, Etext programs,
and all that stuff!!!

I know people never believe that the future will come at the same
rate as the past. . .those who believe are called "Futurists" and
are often regarded as silly, because they can't tell the DIRECTION
things will take. . . .

However silly those drawings of people flying around all over the
place from 50 years ago seem to be. . .the TRUTH is that there ARE
that many people flying around overhead. . .sometimes I see a dozen
airliners [airliners???] flying overhead as I was the sun going down
. . .the only difference is that we don't have as many private planes
and driveways for them and helicopters. . .it's not very privatized
is the main difference. . .and not for such short runs. . . .

Thanks!

So nice to hear from you!
