Fw: FineReader OCR



Thank you, Dean, for that recommendation.

I downloaded FineReader as soon as I read your post and I was not
disappointed (except with the download process itself!!)

FineReader is definitely a big fish in a small pond! It is more accurate
than omnipage pro 10.0 but still has problems
recognizing certain symbols and characters.

That having been said, it IS a vast improvement on anything else I have
tried.

The only complaint I have is that the company had to split a 21MB file into
8 pieces for download, without offering one the option to download the
program as a single file.

Well, there you have it!! I feel better now!!! : )
