Frankly I think the same laws apply to both, copyrighted material is
copyrighted material no matter what medium it is on..

DVD is a format that allows more information to be stored on a single disc
than could be stored on a CD.

There are some models on the market, Apple sells a G4 with a DVD-R drive in it.
