I am fairly new to this list and this activity, so please forgive me
if I am treading on old ground, but is it at all possible to store the
text in a compressed (as in Zip'd) form that will automatically uncompress
the text when it is accessed? (For instance a self-extracting Zip file?)
This could address some of the immediate data storage costs and, for those
with the appropriate operating system(s), could also decrease the download
time by transferring the autoextract-zip.
