The Motley Assembly, a farce by Mercy Otis Warren

I just posted at http://www.samizdat.com/warren/motley.html a short play,
The Motley Assembly by Mercy Otis Warren, first published in 1779, and
mocking opportunitistic residents of Boston who switched sides without
regard to principle, and focused on their own social advancement while the
Revolutionary War continued elsewhere. I entered the text by hand, updating
the spelling and punctuation to make it easily understood.

I'm gradually entering all of Mercy Otis Warren's works. You can see the
others at http://www.samizdat.com/warren

Meanwhile, I'm also putting together CDs of public domain ebooks, organized
by topic and author, with the text itself in plain ASCII and an HTML index
for ready access to them all. You can see the table of contents of the first
two at:
http://www.samizdat.com/amlitcd.html (American Literature) and
http://www.samizdat.com/childcd.html (Children's Books)

I'm now working on a British Literature CD. You can see its current contents
at http://www.samizdat.com/britlitcd.html

I intend to add to these CDs as more books become available. Suggestions
welcome.

Best wishes.
