Penn's library servers have now outgrown their old computer room,
and so we're going to move them to a new room with more space for
new services. The move will take place this Saturday and Sunday.
As a result, digital.library.upenn.edu, the home of The On-Line Books Page
and A Celebration of Women Writers, will be taken off the network for
a substantial portion of the weekend. I don't know exactly how long
this will be, but I've been warned that the web site could be
unavailable for 24 hours or more.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and hope the site will be off-line
for as little time as possible. In the meantime, though, if there
are any on-line books you're thinking of looking at this weekend, you
may want to look them up now and bookmark or download them (or use
IPL's index while mine is offline).
