Our Non-Fiction CD is now available with 536 books, including History,
Natural Science, Social Science, Philosophy, and Reference. The
classification makes it easy to find interesting books that you didn't know
existed.

The largest category is History, including Ancient (41), Australian (6),
British (19), Canadian (7), Chinese (11), Danish (1), Exploration (17),
French (109), German (24) Modern Greek (1), Icelandic (1), Indian (2),
Italian 4), Latin American (3), Norwegian (2), Russian (4), South African
(1), United States (72), and World (11). United States History is further
divided into: Colonial, Revolution, Early Republic, Civil War (22), After
Civil War, Documents, and Special Topics.

Natural Science includes: Biology and Evolution (37, with 19 by Darwin),
Astronomy, Geology and Geography, Medicine, Physics, General Science, and
Technology. Technology (25) includes Flight (8), Telephone and Telegraph,
Photography, Ships, Engineers/Inventors/Industrialists, and
Machinery/Chemistry/Manufacturing.

Yes, these books are all old -- old enough to be in the public domain. So
under flight, you won't be reading about the latest jets; but you could
learn how to build and operate a plane from World War I or before.

Social Science includes: Anthropology and Myth (10, one of which is the
complete Golden Bough by Frazier), Sociology (10, including Memoirs of
Extraordinary Popular Delusions), Economics and Business, Law and Crime,
Psychology, Political Science, War, and Women's Studies (12).

There are also categories for: About Fine Art, About Drama, About Music, and
About Books (including Literary Criticism, Library Science, and
Appreciation of Books).

The books are all plain text files organized for convenience and easy
access. For best results, you shoud use it on a Windows PC with a Web
browser and/or Word.
