I hadn't really though whether there should be two such lists or one.

[Moderator: Given that I generally discourage on-list metadiscussion
of *this* list, metadiscussion posts concerning *another* list
have probably gone far enough here. I'd ask that interested folks
either use that list for discussing it, or write to Michael and/or
Bowerbird offline. If that list moves or gets renamed or merged into
another one, however, an updated pointer can be posted here. - JMO]
