Of all the complaints I have received about eBooks, very nearly all are
about things the complainants can change for themselves.

The funny part is that, after all their complaining, and I don't mean
bowerbird and Mr. Noring, these people seem to rarely take the minimal
time and effort required to make these changes, and would rather prefer
to continue complaining rather than make any kind of effort to fix things.

This is true even to the point where they will pay someone else to fix
things up for them, as they buy some revamped eBooks that have fonts,
colors, etc., set the way they like them, when they could have selected
what they liked themselves.

Are we truly THAT much of a "consumer society?"

Give the world eBooks in 2006!!!
