Re: my "continuous proofreading" demo

Not bad from my POV as I have found too many etexts are just unedited
raw OCR output, unread by any human with an interest in quality.
Side-by-side presentation of a page of etext and image may be an
excellent default view for nearly any scholarly or research-oriented
material online. UMichigan, for example, has put some excellent Middle
English etexts up (http://www.hti.umich.edu/c/cme/browse.html) but you
have to click around to get the page image in another window, and
there's no provision for corrections--in fact, it's hard even to find an
email address for a webmaster.

I'll pass these URLs along to some digital library and various scholarly
folk and get some reaction.

Cheers,
Al Magary
