My good wishes and prayers go out to both of them. - JMO]
Hi,
The people who are receiving this are people in our email address
book who I either do not recognize at all or who are people who I think
have not been included in the recent round of emails regarding my wife
Paulina. If this email is inappropriate for you, then I
apologize. My goal is to reach those of my wife's friends and
acquaintences who may have been overlooked. Some of you know her as
Paulina Bicnas, some as Paulina Unsworth, some as Paulina Miner, some as
crowss and there may be other names.
In a nutshell: Paulina is dying. She was diagnosed
with advanced pancreatic cancer in January. Chemotherapy has failed
to halt the progress of the disease and she is now in home hospice
care. she's had some relatively good days, but sometimes sinks into
an almost comatose state. When this happens we do not know if she
will wake again. Today she is in such a state, so I do not know if
she will rise to the surface again or not.
My goal here is to notify as many people as possible of the
situation in case anyone wants to see her again or will want to attend
the memorial service or was just wondering why she's not online any
more. Paulina knew lots of people from many walks of life and I
have no idea how to contact a comprehensive list (in particular she
utilized MIRC and other online communication channels that i know little
or nothing about, so I don't know how to contact those people) - if you
know of anyone who might wish to know about her condition, please forward
this message or post the relevant info in the appropriate place.
She has always been a generous, kind and helpful person - very
loving and caring. I would not be the man I am today without her
input and support. I know she has done wonderful things for many
others out there (many of you and others besides). She will be
sorely missed.
Thank you,
Jeff
