Actually, it announced "While the PrePrints site is down at the
moment, earlier this
week we added 6 eBooks in Turkish". So apparently one of Michael
Hart's projects that never got announced on the PG mailing list got
new Turkish books. It's very frustrating how hard it is to follow all
these things that Michael Hart is doing in PG's name.
[Moderator: Sorry; the oversimplified summary there was my error.
In fact, Michael's mentioned the PrePrints site regularly in Part 1
of the Gutenberg newsletter; and I mentioned it as well in an earlier
summary, but as in other announcement summaries, I only mentioned it
the first time the main item appeared, and not in subsequent weeks.
Based on earlier queries about reader interest, we only forward Part 2
of the Gutenberg weekly newsletter (the part with the books here).
I do my best to catch significant new developments from Part 1, but those
who want to follow Gutenberg more closely, and get more frequent and
repeated reminders of what the project is doing, may want to subscribe
to the Project Gutenberg Weekly Newsletter list directly. See
http://lists.pglaf.org/listinfo.cgi/gweekly
for subscription details. - JMO]
