Re: Google Still #3 In eBooks

So, your Project Gutenberg total of 100,000 is from gutenberg.cc? If
the total is 75,000 from gutenberg.cc + another 20,000, from the
gutenberg.org, PG europe, PG australia, when probably 10K of
gutenberg.cc is blackmask's copies of gutenberg.org works, and
gutenberg.cc also has roughly 20,000 gutenberg.org works, then you're
counting gutenberg.org's works 2 or 3 times. I think you do PG a
disservice if it appears to the average end-user of PG that you're
inflating the available eBook count by at least 2, especially when it
appears that the main reason for doing so is to trash Google's
accomplishments.

Also, the comparison with duplications in a paper book library is
unreasonable. A PBL needs duplicates because they require multiple
copies in order to allow multiple patrons to check out a popular book.
A freely distributable ebook library with 3 identical copies created
from the same book is not the same situation at all.
