I have read Mr. Thulin's message from end to end, and while I have run
into some of the same problems, other items he had trouble with seemed
to run quite smoothly. . .hard to figure no hits for "Scott" and could
another effort be worthwhile, esp. after inquiring via the site notes?
However, if Mr. Thulin is more comfortable making his comments here to
The Book People rather than on site, I would be glad to relay them one
at a time, highest priority first, if he is willing to give a specific
example or two for me to work with.
However, relaying someone else' complaints is not easy, particularly a
complaint that one did not have oneself.
Neverheless, I would be more than happy to give it my best shot.
As for the suggestion that the downloads are institutional, that would
not fit well with the graphs I saw of downloads over time. . .it was a
pretty good 24 hour cycle, heavy on Europe and Asia it would seem.
Other than on weekends, it would appear about 1 million eBook per day,
and I will try to get better numbers.
As for just sweeping the whole site, if anyone finds a way to do that,
I'd love a copy to run myself.
Thanks!!!
Michael
