yawn.
let me know when (a) _all_ publishers sign on to this initiative, and
(b) join forces so i don't have to visit each individual company's site.
the whole walled-garden thing is so last millennium it's laughable...
kudos to harpercollins for being ahead of so many other publishers;
sadly, however, they're still several days late and many dollars short.

p.s. their viewer-program gets a similar mixed review. it has some
nice points, but for the most part, it just doesn't do the job very well.
the worst is it requires v9 of the flash player. these guys don't get it.
