Thanks for being willing to talk about the program.
One of the things that bugs me about Google Books is that most books
that have full page illustrations that are not numbered pages are
missing from the images provided by Google (or in other cases, the
illustrations are there, and the text pages adjacent are missing). Is
this a scanning error by the Google scan operators, a policy decision
by Google to not scan these pages, or some sort of processing error
when Google puts it online? In what sort of shape are the scans
University of Michigan receives from Google?
