by the way, for the people who are not also subscribed
to the listserve over at project gutenberg, i have also
done the "complete rethunk", _and_ written that up in
an extensive post there, _and_ volunteered to write the
programs to administer the new error-correction system,
basically automating all the processes as much as possible,
from reporting to checking to editing to changelog-creation
to reposting to informing users. that was a year or so back...
the response? silence.
very much like the silence here on duguid's excellent article.
and the silence here on relevance of duguid's points to d.p.
and the silence here on my offer to discuss d.p.'s work-flow.
nobody feels like talking, i guess.
sorry to disturb your meditation... ;+)
