That was sarcasm? Boy, do I feel silly now! In the future, you might 
want to surround sarcastic remarks with "tags" like this: 
<sarcasm></sarcasm>. Oh, wait. You don't like using HTML-style markup, 
so I guess you'll have to create a ZML method for denoting sarcasm. ;)

Seriously, since in the past there has been some lengthy discussion on 
the BP List about ebook authenticity, faithfulness, trustworthiness, 
etc., I thought some BP members might be interested in an example 
where first a later paper edition made major changes to the original 
book's text without noting all of them in detail, then an ebook 
version of that later edition made additional major changes without 
any mention of them at all.

amateur and post purely for the love of the sport. ;)

Well, DP seems to regard a book's original line breaks as superfluous 
material once their proofreading is done. So I don't see why you get 
annoyed that they discard them. What should they do with that 
superfluous material? Or would you agree with me that superfluity is 
in the eye of the beholder. Or to paraphrase another cliche: One man's 
superfluous material is another man's treasure. ;)
