Newbie

Good morning everyone,

Just like Drew I am new to the group. Unfortunately, I am a struggling
college student and can't afford to help out financially, but would be
willing to do anything else to help get books on-line. I was reading one
of the recent e-mail and am not sure if I'm misunderstanding something or
what. What is the problem/deal with the copyright law? Or is that just
for that one particular project? I am an excellent typist and would be
willing to type if you need me.

Sincerely,
Yonnie M. Derr

some information on how people can put books on-line, and on what
the basic copyright issues are. One useful rule to remember: in the US,
anything published before 1922 is public domain. (As of January 1,
anything published *before 1923* will be PD in the US.) - JMO]
