Additional note

Some images from Field and Stream were renewed separately in the Artwork section, rather than in the Contributions to Periodicals section. The first such images with active copyrights of their own are pheasant, quail, and shooting pictures by Aiden Lassell Ripley that appeared in the November 1946 issue. They were renewed in 1974.
