Additional notes

This title began as Flying Models Including Flying Aces. Notes in the Periodicals renewals section of CCE from 1975 through January-June 1977 say to 'consult copyright office' for renewal information. The first cataloged issue renewal, mentioned in the July-December 1977 CCE Periodicals volume, is for the June 1947 issue, and was filed in 1975.

This title absorbed Air World in 1948, and its title was subsequently given as 'including Flying Aces and Air World', and then as 'including Air World and Flying Aces', and later shortening to simply 'Flying Models'.
