This is a British publication. Its contents may still be copyrighted even without renewals or copyright notices, if they meet GATT copyright restoration requirements for works first published outside the US.
An American edition of 'Television' (which was subtitled 'America's first television journal') began in June 1928 and ran at least through 1929. It carried some of the same content as the British journal, possibly later than it appeared in the UK, and for that reason we are not sure if all of its content is now out of US copyright.
