A 1983 copyright renewal filed for Philip K. Dick's 'Of Withered Apples' says it was published in the July 1955 issue of Uncanny Tales, but no such story appears in that issue, according to the Grand Comics Database. ISFDB says that Dick's story first appeared in the July 1954 issue of Cosmos Science Fiction and Fantasy, and does not list an appearance in any serial titled 'Uncanny Tales'.
