The Asiatic Quarterly Review

The Asiatic Quarterly Review was the name of a British journal on India and southern Asia as published in two runs in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Publication History

The Asiatic Quarterly Review began publishing in 1886. It published under that name until 1890. In 189s a new series began titled Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record. That journal became The Asiatic Quarterly Review again in 1913. The Asiatic Quarterly Review became The Asiatic Review the following year.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1885-1890: HathiTrust has the first series of the Asiatic Quarterly Review, which ran for 10 volumes. Some scans linked here are of reprint editions.
• 1913: HathiTrust has both volumes of this title's second run, along with some volumes of the earlier Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record.
