The Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record

The Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record was the name of a British journal on India and southern Asia as published in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Publication History

The Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record began publishing under that name until 1891, as a "second series" succeeding The Asiatic Quarterly Review. "Asiatic Quarterly Review" was initially printed more prominently than the rest of this title. A "third series" began in 1896. The Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record ran under that title until 1912, and then became The Asiatic Quarterly Review once again.
