The Grade Teacher began publishing under that title in 1929, succeeding Primary Education-Popular Educator and continuing its issue numbering. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is February 1930 (v. 47 no. 6), © January 11, 1930. The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from January 1960. (More details) The Grade Teacher ran under that title until 1972, and then was renamed Teacher.
