Minutes of the Providence Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church was the official annual record of the Providence (later, the New England Southern) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The title varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The Providence Conference was split off from the New England Conference in 1841. It appears to have covered Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southeastern Massachusetts. It was renamed the New England Southern Conference in 1881. After later mergers, its present-day successor is the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church (which now covers most of New England).

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1850-1869, 1871-1904: HathiTrust has the 10th-29th and 31st-64th sessions. The New England Southern Conference name was first used in the 41st session.
