The Boy Scouts of America, doing business as Scouting America since 2025, is the largest scouting organization and one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with over 1 million youth, including nearly 200,000 female participants. Founded in 1910, about 130 million Americans have participated in its programs, which are served by 465,000 adult volunteers. The organization became a founding member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1922. In 2025 the organization changed its name to Scouting America. (From Wikipedia)
