The Second Jungle Book is a children's book by Rudyard Kipling, containing eight stories, each with an accompanying poem, mostly set in the rainforests of India.

Bibliographic notes

The Second Jungle Book was first published in 1895 as a sequel to The Jungle Book. As with the previous collection, the stories in this book had previously been published in magazines. The first edition, and some later editions, may leave off the intended ending of "The King's Ankus".
