Through the Looking-Glass is Lewis Carroll's sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, in which Alice enters another world of fantastical nonsense. Bibliographic notesThe first edition of Through the Looking-Glass is dated 1872 (though it came out in late Deember 1871). It had illustrations by John Tenniel, who had also illustrated the earlier Alice book. The story has also been illustrated by other artists.
