A 1972 renewal for 'Anything Can Happen' by George and Helen Waite Papashvily mentions that one chapter was previously published in Direction in 1940. I consider this renewal to be too late to cover the magazine publication, but note that there is a timely renewal for a 1940 Papashvily work above.
